We are celebrating our one-year anniversary by hosting a puzzle party in Chicago that includes casual puzzling, free raffle drawings and prizes, a puzzle swap, build-your-own taco bar catering, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and cake! This will be be an opportunity to puzzle, eat, and meet with other puzzlers. We will provide puzzle options and opportunities to play puzzle chess. There will be a puzzle swap table where you can take a puzzle in exchange for each puzzle that you drop off.

Chicago Puzzle Club will be proudly assisting SPEEDPUZZLING.COM in running their Chicago division Super Saturday 2025 Mini Tourney! This is a scaled-down version of their State Championships, with all 3 competitions (Solo, Pair, and Team). They will use smaller piece counts and shorter time limits. We hosted our first multi-division teams speed puzzle competition in Chicago! Teams of up to 4 people competed in a 500-piece puzzle race in the Novice division with a 1.5-hour time limit and 1,000-piece puzzle race in the Advanced division with a 2.5-hour time limit. It was an afternoon of fun, opportunity to compete with other puzzlers, and had complimentary light refreshments! We also had a puzzle swap table for those who want to exchange puzzles.

We hosted our first solo speed puzzle competition in Chicago! Individuals competed in a 500-piece puzzle race with a 2-hour time limit. We had an afternoon of fun, a fun competition with puzzlers, and complimentary light refreshments! There was a free raffle giveaway also, and puzzlers who came dressed in festive holiday clothes received an extra free raffle ticket. We had a puzzle swap table for those who want to exchange puzzles.

For the first time, we allowed a limited number of spectators for this event where they got to cheer on a competitor, participate in the puzzle swap, and got complimentary light refreshments.

We hosted our first speed puzzle workshop and mini 100-piece speed puzzle competition in Chicago! In this 2-hour event, we did a presentation on information about speed puzzling, tips, strategies, and more. Then, individuals practiced speed puzzling by doing a 100-piece puzzle race for fun with a 30-minute time limit. For the remaining time, puzzlers got to practice speed puzzling or casually do puzzles. We also had a puzzle swap table for those who wanted to exchange puzzles.

We hosted a Halloween-themed pairs speed puzzle competition in Chicago! Teams of up to 2 people competed in a 500-piece puzzle race with a 2-hour time limit.
