Gamer’s Universe

Gamer’s Universe is an event for all ages and flavors of gamers and is created by the Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild (CTGG), a group of Chicago teens creating inclusive gaming experiences across the city. Come join us as we’ll have tables for a puzzle swap, casual puzzling, puzzle chess, and puzzle sprints.
The event is free to attend but registration is required.

Speed Puzzle Competition

We are hosting our 3rd annual Puzzle with Pride teams speed puzzle competition in Chicago! It’s open to all ages and skill levels. We will have a 500-piece Novice division and 1,000-piece division where teams of up to 4 people will compete to win. Prizes were awarded to the top three winning teams in each division. It will be an afternoon of fun, opportunity to compete with other puzzlers, and free snacks and beverages will be provided! There is an opportunity to win door prizes as well. We will also have a puzzle swap table for those who want to exchange puzzles.
Feel free to come dressed in festive attire. A portion of the ticket sales was donated to Trans Lifeline, a peer support and crisis hotline 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering phone support to transgender people.

Speed Puzzle Competition
August 8, 2026
We are hosting a Solo and Pairs speed puzzle competition in Chicago using unreleased puzzles from a local Chicago artist!
The Solo speed puzzle competition division will compete to finish a 500-piece puzzle within a 2-hour time limit (10:30am – 12:30pm). The Pairs speed puzzle competition division will have teams of 2 people compete to finish a 500-piece puzzle within a 2-hour time limit (1:30pm – 3:30pm). Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each division. Both divisions will use an unreleased puzzle from a local Chicago artist, and the artist will be present to sign the competition puzzle if you’re interested in getting your puzzle box signed!
We have spectator tickets for sale that will include the opportunity to participate in the puzzle swap and get free snacks and beverages.

Once a month, the Chicago Puzzle Club puzzles with members of the Center for Enriched Living in Riverwoods, IL, a nonprofit organization that provides valuable programs and services for teens, adults, and seniors with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
